MATWORK PILATES
Matwork Pilates was adapted from Joseph Pilates original sequence of 34 moves,which in it's
original format was very athletic and looked similar to gymnastics.Over the years these moves
have been adapted and simplified for a safe and effective class environment.

We also use various pieces of Pilates equipment in the classes such as isotoners ,rollers,
resistance bands, miniballs and weighted balls which add variety and intensity to the sessions.
Matwork Pilates classes can be suitable for all ages and fitness levels,as we do offer a range of classes from beginners through to the more experienced Pilates student.We now have
Power Pilates on our timetable which is a faster pace for those who have previous Pilates
experience.
