We are starting a new Power Yoga class here at Borderpilates from
25th April 2008.
Power yoga is based on Ashtanga yoga but with a few modifications making this practice suitable for almost everyone.You don’t need to be flexible to start, as this form of yoga will develop your flexibility, strength and stamina.
We us a continuous free flowing movement of postures, in conjunction with the breath, this builds heat in the body burning toxins and excess weight. This is an ideal complementary exercise to any of the sports you maybe taking part in.
Power yoga is the chosen form of exercise of many stars, such as Madonna, Sting, Jennifer Aniston, and for the guys Roy Keane, Ryan Giggs and David James.Most people will find as they develop their flexibility, they become less prone to injuries. Increasing self awareness and calmness.
Steve has been studying and practising yoga since 1998 and is qualified to teach Hatha and Ashtanga yoga He regularly attends workshops and conventions to keep updated, Steve has trained with some of the worlds leading Ashtanga yoga teachers.
Also he is enrolled on a Pilates Teacher Training course.
There are no class cancellations this week.
